Circular economy
The adoption of efficient and innovative production practices allows us to optimize the use of resources and reduce waste and energy consumption. Furthermore, we encourage the recycling and reuse of materials by integrating production residues into new production cycles.
Our parquet floors are certified by the major European and global bodies and we are the first and only parquet factory in Italy with EPD certification, a title that attests to the eco-sustainability and compatibility of our parquet floors with the specifications of green building projects, contributing to raising the class LEED, BREEAM or WELL. The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification provides detailed information on the environmental impact of our products throughout their life cycle.
Transparency and short supply chain
We are committed to ensuring maximum transparency at every stage of the production process. Garbelotto production takes place exclusively within the Cappella Maggiore factories, where there are offices and a design showroom, and Godega di Sant’Urbano.
It is a very short and totally transparent and accessible supply chain. At Garbelotto we organize numerous events to show designers how parquet is made and we support local economies by selecting suppliers who share our values of sustainability and quality. This approach not only reduces transport-related emissions but also ensures rigorous control of quality and ethical practices throughout the supply chain.
Sustainability Report
We are currently preparing our sustainability report, a crucial document that will reflect our commitment to responsible and environmentally friendly business practices. By next year, we will be ready to present the results of this work, which will include our initiatives to reduce environmental impact, improve resource management and promote sustainability at every level of our operations. This report will not only guide us in pursuing sustainability objectives, but will also allow us to transparently report to our stakeholders on our contribution to protecting the environment and the community.

Having the necessary certifications to validate the quality of products processed and manufactured by Garbelotto is a mark of assurance and reliability for all our clients.
Understanding the significance of living in environments made with excellent and safe materials, we are pleased to highlight one of our outstanding certifications: the CFL S1 Certification for fire reaction.
This certification indicates the degree to which a combustible material participates in a fire to which it is exposed.
Parchettificio Garbelotto products have the CFL-S1 fire reaction certification, which corresponds to Class 1—the highest standard of safety. This certification also permits the use of our flooring in public spaces and escape routes, ensuring maximum reliability even in high-traffic areas, while still maintaining suitability for residential environments.
