Cortina, wood and panorama
In the Heart of the Dolomites, a designer apartment with a breathtaking view of the mountains, could only be total Wood: a modern and welcoming design to fully enjoy moments of relax in Cortina. The project, the architecture and the interior design of this Cortina’s home were treated in detail by Giulio de Filippo and Fabrizio Luchetti, of Outline studio74.
The floor chosen is a pre-finished floor by Garbelotto in thermo-treated oak with Habitat finish, developed by the R&D department of Garbelotto, specifically designed to make the wood natural both to the eye and to the touch, enhancing the material characteristics of the different wood species. The shade of the Oak and its texture perfectly matches the wood chosen for the walls: a first patina fir from ancient barns and curtain houses completely restored used both for the boiserie, which frame the windows with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites, than for the ceiling.
Metal inserts and a clever game of mirrors complete the timeless atmosphere of this apartment.
All Garbelotto pre-finished products are also suitable for green building, are class E1 certified for the emission of formaldehyde and, on request, FSC® certified.
