The charme of Olmo in the Venetian Pre-Alps
The unmistakable grain of the elm is a trait-d-union of this exclusive renovation of an old industrial complex in the Venetian Pre-Alps. The two-floor apartment was created from the attic of the building, maintaining the original architecture and restoring and whitening the impressive system of beams that make up the supporting structure of the roof and divide the spaces with great personality.
The cozy warm wooden floors bring out even more the minimal design furnishings with which the open space was furnished, flooded with light coming from the windows and skylights.
To maintain the materiality of the wood and emphasize the character grain of this 2-layer pre-finished product, the Habitat finish was chosen, the varnish that preserves and enhances the natural beauty of the wood, thanks to a full-cycle water-based varnishing treatment that makes the tables are totally matt and soft and pleasant to the touch.
The floor appears to be untreated: the shades and characteristics of the wood species are not altered by the finish, which slows down the normal oxidation of the wood.
Like all Garbelotto brand floors, this pre-finished product, E1 class on the emission of formaldehyde certified, 100% Made in Italy and FSC certified on request.
