It is confirmation of the fact that today the company ranks among the largest international producers of wooden floors, thanks to the quality of its products and the innovative Clip Up System® technology, the famous patented and exclusive installation system for wooden floors. that allows you to install a “floating” wooden floor 100% Made in Italy without glue or magnets and make it inspectable.
The clips used are made of polymer, totally recyclable and self-extinguishing. Upon request, the floor can be made with raw materials from FSC® certified forests.
Garbelotto is the only parquet factory in Italy with EPD certification, which certifies its eco-sustainability and compatibility with the specifications of green building projects, helping to raise the LEED, BREEAM or WELL class.
Garbelotto is sustainable through its products, but also its processes. In fact, new solar panels were also installed on the roofs of the headquarters buildings which generate a power of 600,000 kWh.
There have been numerous investments to expand the new technologies that exploit the Internet of Things paradigm, effectively entering the 4.0 industry. The company has equipped itself with new machinery that uses sensors connected to the network from which it is possible to collect a large amount of data which is used to control all stages of production with a considerable saving of raw materials and energy.
Through various gateways distributed in the crucial points of production, the production process is monitored, reducing waste and ensuring a high quality of the final products.

In addition to the recovery of wood waste and sawdust used for heating the offices and drying ovens, the factory is also equipped with a technological geothermal system thanks to which it covers 80% of the energy needs for production and offices.
