This type of Noblesse® herringbone is characterized by the cut between 45° and 60° on the short side and is the most classic of the herringbone. It can be used with a wide variety of wood species and board sizes. This versatility allows you to create a wide range of custom designs to fit each room’s aesthetic preferences.
In this case the cut of the short side of each board is 10° creating a more elongated design compared to the Noblesse® herringbone at 45° and 60°. Perfect for any location and for any type of furniture, from the most classic to the most contemporary.
To create this particular design, boards with two lengths are used which create two repeating bands of flooring. One of a kind, it creates a refined and unusual laying geometry.
In this original laying geometry, boards with three different widths alternate and cut with the same angle on the short side. A dynamic design that characterizes the environments in an original way.
Thinking outside the box is a peculiarity of Garbelotto and this ilaying geometry is born from this attitude. The boards cut on the short side at 45° are laid in a straight line, instead of the usual herringbone laying.
